Forbidden Fruit Adds Six New Acts
Forbidden Fruit has bolstered its already impressive 2017 line-up with the addition of six scintillating new acts.
The newest acts scheduled to perform at the Royal Hospital in Kilmainham are Booka Shade, Tycho, Jax Jones, Hot Chip (DJ Set), Fatima Yamaha and Snakehips. With a focus on the electronic side of the music spectrum, these new acts are varied and welcome additions to the three day festival. Already announced for Forbidden Fruit are headliners Orbital, Aphex Twin and Bon Iver, as well as the likes of Moderat, Lisa Hannigan, Flying Lotus, Maceo Plex, The Staves and more.
Now in its seventh year, Forbidden Fruit has established itself as one of Ireland’s premier festivals, boasting a line-up to match its lofty aspirations. As well as the incredible selection of music on offer, there’ll be plenty of other amusements over the course of the weekend, with spoken word, art, fashion and food all playing a big role in creating the festival’s atmosphere.
Forbidden Fruit 2017 takes place at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 June and a variety of single day and weekend tickets are available to purchase from Ticketmaster.
